Meet Our Teachers
Heather Todd-Franklin
Heather began yoga by practicing Bikram yoga in Chicago, IL after seeking respite from a hectic work life and overstimulated nervous system.
A natural transition brought her to discover vinyasa and ashtanga yoga, leading to a deeper exploration of the themes and practices of yogic philosophy. The habit quickly took hold and by 2011 she had completed her first teacher training. She settled in St. Petersburg in 2018 and by early 2020 was seeking out a studio to begin teaching locally.
Heather’s style is rooted in the hatha lineage, coordinating vinyasa-styled movements with a focus on pranayama, energy flow, self-care and personal challenges on and off the mat. Heather is a certified 500RYT, a certified yogic wellness coach, a yoga therapist, crystal therapist and holds an ayurvedic specialization in women’s health and post-partum doula care.
Anne-Marie Murdock
Anne-Marie Murdock is a recent 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher graduate. Originally a Michigan native, but has been in Florida for the past 10 years. Yoga really only came into her life about a year and a half ago, but she instantly fell in love with the healing and peace it brought her.
Anne-Marie wants all of her students to feel safe and supported through movement, breath, and stillness. She specializes in juicy flows, nourishing restores, and working on her 100hr Pre-Natal Certification.
Deeptha Sadasivan
Deeptha Sadasivan resides in St. Petersburg with her toddler, husband, and pitbull rescue. She a 200 hour certified yoga teacher. who specializes in teaching, restore, yin, slow flow, and power sequences.
Deeptha is furthering her yoga education by completing a Yoga Therapy Certification for Seniors in September of 2024. When she's not chasing after her son, she enjoy reading anything and everything, tennis, cooking, and being in nature.
Kristen Kurtz
Born in Chicagoland, Kristen first discovered yoga at 18 yrs. old while in school for massage therapy training. It wasn’t until later in life that she found a true appreciation for yoga, and now meditation and mindfulness are . I fell in love a part of her daily practice.
Kristen resonates most with YIN yoga because of it's therapeutic relationship with connective tissue and emotional release. As a Gemini, world traveler, and avid scuba diver her heart is in the water and her soul on a plane. She has lived in Saint Pete, FL for 8 glorious years now and love every minute of it!
Cait Naramore
Cait is passionate about creating a safe space for growth and healing. Her journey to becoming a teacher began with a personal practice that evolved from a mode of exercise to a way of going within and finding peace.
Cait specializes in slow, mindful movement as well as combining effort with ease in her 50/50 style Flow and Release classes. She is also currently working to become a Yoga Nidra Practitioner and a certified Sound Healer in the near future!

Kayla Jacobson
Kayla started her yoga journey in college, but it took a few years to figure out yoga was more than just a physical practice. Her yoga mat became her safe place which allowed her to focus her breath rather than the hectic life around her.
In December 2022, Kayla completed her 200 YTT from High Vibration Living and is Yoga Alliance Certified. She is excited to share her passion of yoga in hopes that the practice will bring fulfillment to others lives.

When she isn't practicing yoga, you can find Kayla going for a run in downtown Gulfport or hanging out with cats (her own, her current fosters, or the colony she feeds at the Skyway Bridge).

Lauren Szeezil
Stepping aside from the corporate hustle and bustle of her early 20s, Lauren felt a strong pull to the holistic wellness industry.
After practicing yoga for nearly 7 years and seeing the physical and mental health benefits firsthand, she wanted to share the benefits with those around her. Lauren acquired her 200-hour yoga teacher certificate from Soul Space Yoga in West Palm Beach, FL. She is also an attuned Reiki Practitioner and certified in sound healing therapy.
Lauren believes that yoga is for every person regardless of shape, size, or gender. Her goal is to make yoga accessible and approachable for all.
Kelli Garcia
Kelli’s yoga journey began in her hometown of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, where she was introduced to the practice during a community college course. Instantly captivated, she went on to pursue a master's degree in kinesiology, driven by her fascination with the human body and its movement.
Over the past decade, Kelli has cultivated a teaching style that blends her deep knowledge of anatomy with the mindfulness and grounding principles of yoga.
Kelli’s primary goal as a teacher is to make yoga approachable and accessible to everyone. She enjoys teaching a variety of styles, including flow, restorative, and hatha, but her true passion lies in working with beginners. She believes that there is a place for everyone in yoga, and that with the right opportunity, everyone can benefit from the practice.
Now a proud Gulfport resident, Kelli is actively involved in the local community through the Gulfport Merchants Chamber and the Gulfport Food Forest. Her classes are known for being light-hearted and accessible, yet deeply rooted in kinesthetic awareness and traditional yoga principles.
Arielle Stover
Arielle is a gratitude and wellness enthusiast who found her love for yoga through her work with children and families. Working in Early Education for over 10 years, she has used yoga as a means for emotional and physical regulation for children and adults alike. The goal of her practice is to cultivate a safe and loving space for children, families, and community to connect and flourish.
She is passionate about teaching yoga for children (ages 2-17), families, and those new to the practice. She also specializes in chakra balancing slow flows.
When not on the mat, you can find her hosting live trivia, reading a book, or hammocking by the water!
Christopher Palumbo
A certified (500hr RYT) yoga instructor in vinyasa flow and Anusara Inspired (alignment), Christopher has also been influenced by embodied vinyasa styles in Los Angeles, and has mentored for many years with leading teachers of yoga for men. Having lived on both coasts, New York and LA, Christopher still fosters a love of travel, though he has made Gulfport his home. He continue to work as a Marketer and Digital Strategist after a long career at leading retailers and service companies and applies his knowledge of the demands of a busy life to his offerings in yoga. He understand the difficulties of finding balance in life and his classes are focused on aligning all the elements of the body/mind. Aptly titling his flow Aligned Flow, the intention of his offerings is to provide layers of balancing practices to enhance the effects of yoga.
Dr. Theo Berlingeri
Theo started his yoga practice in 2013 by joining a friend for a hot yoga class, leading to a journey of deepening his knowledge of the human body.
Theo spent two years at a work-study program with Tibetan Nyingma Meditation Center in California, providing an opportunity to learn & teach Kum Nye Yoga. Soon after Theo enrolled at Palmer Chiropractic in Iowa with a focus on brain-based approaches. While in Iowa, Theo earned his 200 RYT at an Ashtanga studio in 2018.
Theo moved to Saint Petersburg in 2020 to start his chiropractic practice and teach yoga. His style of teaching has a heavy influence of Ashtanga, with a focus on alignment. He has a strong passion for guiding students through safe movement to ensure a long, injury free yoga practice.
Amy Matson
Amy was born and raised in St. Pete, and has been a Registered Nurse for over 16 years. She discovered yoga as a way to cope with the physical and emotional demands of her nursing career.
In 2018, Amy traveled to Portugal to earn her 200hr RYT in Ashtanga + Vinyasa. Inspired by this experience, she also received certifications in Trauma Informed Yoga, Breathwork and Yoga Nidra.
Most recently, she received a Professional Studies Diploma from the 4-year program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.
Amy is passionate about incorporating the 8 limbs of yoga into daily life. She approaches her
teaching through the lens of ancient knowledge and modern science. The path to enlightenment undoubtedly fosters nervous system resilience. And a resilient nervous system is the healing balm for the human condition. Regardless of your path, or reasons for exploring yoga, slowing down and turning inward is a beautiful way to flourish. Expect mindfulness and movement linked with breath.
Amy is lighthearted and playful and
enjoys empowering her student to find their inner authority. If you can breathe, you can do
